GGG Distinguished Speakers series - Winter 2009
We had a very successful distinguished series Fall Quarter, and I am happy to announce that this will continue Winter Quarter, thanks to contributions from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and several departments and campus programs. The Fall series focused on the history of California's biophysical environment, and the Winter series will shift our focus to the history of the state's social environment. We have lined up another wonderful and diverse group of speakers. The series will be held at the same time (Wednesdays 5:10 - 6:30pm) and place (1150 Hart Hall). I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to come to the seminars and to send you a pdf file of the flier.
As in Fall Quarter, the Winter Quarter GGG distinguished speakers series will be a 2 unit graduate seminar, GEO 297. The CRN is 36512. The requirement is attendance at the seminars.
